How Kinder Kixx Works
The Program
Each session is led by a qualified instructor at your childcare center, preschool, or after school program. Your child will learn the basics of the game as he or she develops strength, balance, coordination, agility, and character. An average session includes:
- Warm-up: aerobics and stretches
- Word of the Day: learn a new soccer term
- Skills and Drills: learn and practice a new soccer concept
- Character in Action: focus on a life skill
- Play time!: put your new skills into action
The Skills We Teach
During each session, every child has a ball at their feet at all times. We believe this method is much more effective than a competitive setting for the development of skill and confidence at this age. Children play age appropriate games to encourage the development of basic soccer skills. Part of each session is also focused on teaching soccer concepts and rules of the game.
