Soccer Word
I’m Smart, You’re Smart
Character Phrase
Sharing is Fun- we will play a game that encourages the children to share their soccer ball with someone else. We emphasize the importance of sharing with their friends and with their siblings.
Soccer Skills
Passing the ball with accuracy. Key points: ankle locked, toe up, plant foot aiming towards the target, hitting the ball with the middle of the inside of your foot.
Reinforcement
Have a pass with your child and encourage him/her to practice good passing technique (ankle locked, toe up, plant foot aiming towards the target, hitting the ball with the middle of the inside of your foot). You can also set out cones or other objects and have your child pass the ball to hit the cones/objects.
